Principal’s
Honor Roll
Students with a grade point
average of 3.8 or 4.0 are honored for their academic success each grading
period. Students with a 4.0 are invited to a celebration hosted by the
Principal at the end of the year. Special certificates are awarded to all
honorees.
Honor Roll
Students who earn a grade point
average between 3.0 - 3.7 are awarded Honor Roll certificates by the Assistant
Principal for their achievement.
Character
Education
The School Board of Broward County, Florida has adopted
eight character traits that will be infused throughout our curriculum and
student activities: Cooperation, Responsibility, Citizenship, Kindness,
Respect, Honesty, Self-control, and Tolerance. Kids of Character of the Month.
Teachers nominate students on a
monthly basis who have demonstrated specific character traits. School
certificates, bumper stickers, and other rewards are presented to the students.
Students are recognized on our in-house television station and their names are
prominently displayed on our Kids of Character board.
