Pledge of allegiance

·        Old Business

o       Holiday Store

o       Big success - $7,000-7,500 sold, which means about $700 in profit.

o       A suggestion was made not to have the middle school students assigned a time since they can go during lunch and instead schedule two visits for each elementary class.

o       A request was also made to not sell poppers or slime.

·        Box Tops

o       So far we have submitted $610 worth

o       Please continue to send these in as classes are still getting rewarded for the effort

·        Gift Card Sales

o       Sales did not go as well as expected due in part to the end of the year rush

o       Pam and Stephanie will be revisiting how best to market this fundraiser in the future.

·        New Business

o       Spring Fundraiser

o       The spring fundraiser has yet to be decided.

o       Parents suggested returning to the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies because the cookies from the lat sale were not good quality.

·        Uniform Swap

o       A date will be announced for after school uniform swap

o       Uniforms are still being accepted please bring them to the elementary office.

·        Questions from the floor

o       Do all parents receive e-mails from PTSO?

o       Only parents who joined are in the database

o       The option of making the database open to all parents will be discussed by the PTSO for next year

o       Will there be anything at the school for Inauguration Day?

·        Upcoming events and special dates

o       1/14 - Chick-Fil-A

o       1/15 - Early release

o       1/16 & 1/19 - No school

o       1/20 - Sweet Tomato (5pm - 8 pm) bring flyer

o       1/28 - Papa John's (noon-midnight)

o       2/10 - next PTSO meeting
