Hello, my name is Sherri Sutton. I have been a Floridian my entire life!! I have two children, 5 and 10! I have been a Pembroke Pines resident for the past 15 years. I graduated from Barry University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. I am also ESOL endorsed by the state of Florida. My teaching career began in Miami-Dade County in 1993. I taught in North Miami and Carol City. I finally made the transfer to Broward County in 2004. This will be my fourth year teaching 2nd Grade at Somerset Academy. I have enjoyed the friendly and loving atmosphere here at Somerset Academy and I am so pleased to have made the move.

I believe each child that enters my classroom door can and will learn. All children are different, not only in personality but learning styles as well. I try to instill confidence and provide a safe environment for my students. I look forward to a rewarding and successful year!!!
