Hello,

This is my 5th year teaching Elementary Art at Somerset Academy.  I am certified to teach art grades k-12 and I currently hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6th), from Florida International University. I am also ESOL endorsed. 

I truly enjoy watching my students express themselves through art. My goal is for the children of Somerset to be able to describe, analyze, and make judgment toward the artwork that is presented to them. By introducing them to the elements of art they will be able to make informed decisions based on their careful observations. In addition, they will be able to use techniques that will encourage them to find their own individual creativity.
