I was born in  sunny Coral Gables Florida.  I am the youngest of four.  My parents immigrated here from Sicily.  I attended Pinecrest Elementary, Palmetto Jr., and graduated from American Sr. High.  I received my B.S. degree in 2000 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.  I taught at Palm Cove Elementary and Broward Community College.   I am a proud mother of two.  I have a 10 year old girl and a 6 year old boy.  I am married to my childhood sweetheart who is also a teacher and soccer coach.  I spend most of my free time at my daughter's tennis matches or my son's soccer games.  I enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, and tennis.
