My name is Karen Capello and I have been teaching for eight years.  I moved to Florida from Boston, Massachusetts eight years ago.  I graduated from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood education and Human Development and Family Studies.  I will be soon pursuing my Master’s Degree.  My teaching experience started as a preschool teacher for 3 and 4 year olds.  After teaching preschool I taught kindergarten, first and second grade.  I have been a first grade teacher for the past 5 years and have truly enjoyed each minute. My time at Somerset with your children has been a rewarding experience and I look forward to a great year!
