      Since 2000, I have been a teacher at Somerset.  When I was hired to teach, the plans for growth and opportunity at Somerset were explained.  When I saw the modular building, it was hard for me to believe that one day (soon) our school would be the impressive educational institution that it is today.

             My professional credentials include a B.A. in Elementary Education, B.A. English, and a MS.Ed. degree in Counseling.  In fact, I have two professions:  fourth grade teacher and therapist at a doctor’s office where I have worked for more than twelve years.  I consider myself very lucky to have both professions that I enjoy for different reasons.

             While I have taught grades k-4 at Somerset, I really enjoy all of them.  However, since I have continued to request the fourth grade for the past few years, it must be because I enjoy “writing.”  It is rewarding to be a part of our students’ education and to share their enthusiasm about their accomplishments.
